New kitchen will feature “Ass-Kickin’ Chicken,” including fingers, handhelds and sides.
Columbus, OH (February 9, 2021) — Cluck Norris Ass-Kickin’ Chicken is laying its first egg in Budd Dairy Food Hall in Italian Village with a spring debut. The new kitchen will offer guests quality, fresh, flavor-packed chicken favorites.
With more than 20 years of restaurant experience, Josh Yosick is the man behind the chicken. A Columbus native, Yosick realized his passion for the restaurant industry at the young age of 14. Having held various restaurant and management positions, Yosick is looking forward to leading the Cluck Norris team in serving up “cluckin’ good chicken” and genuine hospitality to all guests.
“We are thrilled to bring this whimsical concept to life while working alongside the diverse lineup of talented chef partners at Budd Dairy Food Hall,” said Yosick. “The Cluck Norris menu is small, but mighty, with black-belt quality dishes that have been carefully thought out and perfected to complement the fun, hip atmosphere of the food hall.”
The Cluck Norris menu will feature flavorful, crispy chicken and sides that will satisfy any craving. The menu will boast Cluck’s famous chicken fingers, hand cut and dipped to order, served with a choice of sauce, including Cluck’s original, sweet chili, BBQ, sriracha, and HOLY CLUCK!! In addition, guests can choose between several handheld crispy chicken sandwich options, and a Pig Tenderloin sandwich. Sacks of fries, along with fresh lemonade and teas, will round out the menu.
The Budd Dairy Food Hall, a new Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) concept, is an innovative culinary launchpad that will feature nine food vendors, bringing a variety of chef-inspired cuisines together under one roof. Set to open this spring, the food hall is a partnership between CMR and local developer Kevin Lykens. CMR will provide food hall management, bartenders and bar personnel, roaming cocktail service and event staffing.
“Cluck Norris is a perfect fit to round out the diverse offerings at Budd Dairy Food Hall,” said Jeremy Hughes, Budd Dairy Food Hall’s general manager. “When guests order from the simple, yet edgy menu, they are guaranteed to have a laugh while enjoying flavorful, high-quality chicken dishes.”
